These comps are only ever a fun way of testing knowledge/ability, if that means making this a win only option then so be it, I'm sure everyone in here is grateful for you taking this on so go with whatever is the least admin intensive for you...
Its been interesting seeing the selections, both common picks but also outliers
Should be a of fun and banter (particularly afterwards when the scores on the doors are calculated!)

Temporary boost prices can be used ?
We need a VAR committee, preferably one less useless than the clowns in football....

I'd imagine the boosted prices are ok myself.
As long as it's not one of those 50-1 Sir Gino to win arkle opening account offers or similar

No VAR in here, it’s basically a free for all, blame Kevloaf, he’s in charge….

Deliberately waiting til the big week like last year but damn it's been so hard to miss out on Kopek at 25s; Fact To File at 20s, Salvator at 20s (possibly, can't remember if he'd shortened or not by the time this thread started).
Nearly gave in just now, but I'll let it all play out - for worse, or for worse
Thanks for putting together the spreadsheet Wayward Lad

As for your discipline in waiting, then yes higher risk early doors, but bigger prices available……yet nearer the day, when maybe there’s more chance of picking the winner, but what price will it be?…….you are not the only one following a similar vein
For this competition though, maybe something in between is probably the right strategy?

I've decided as a book builder, and seeing 'all' the fancy prices and taking a lot of them (and plenty that don't work - but you don't get as punished with cashout + NRNB) so if I leave it really late, it's more enjoyable...
I think I've only had 2 selections so far, and one was Ma Jacks Hill in the bumper, BEFORE he ran .... being too greedy wanting to get a 33/1 shot as an SP fav .... looks pretty dumb now and rightfully punished with only 27 selections to go
