I'd have BDA a lot closer to C Hill than 9/4 NRNB and Lossie would also be a lot shorter than 5/4 NRNB mares.

Yep so would I. There’s something not sitting quite right with me about CH. Hendo et al would have known that connections of one of his biggest rivals were looking for an excuse to bail. What better excuse than seeing CH put in a performance to justify taking the safer option,not necessarily sensational, but good enough. Instead they chose to let him do little more than a strong gallop. Are they themselves doubting whether he is in fact the same horse and are too afraid to show what’s under the bonnet in case it’s not what they hope. Maybe paranoia on my part but it sat a little uneasy with me at the time and I haven’t been able to shift that feeling since.

Find it bizarre that the mares are ‘avoiding’ each other. I know Elliott said ‘there’s a mare Lossiemouth’ when asked about the champion I think it was but she’s hardly done much since those comments. I very much like Lossiemouth as well and think she’d take BDA over either trip. I think BDA got away with one at Xmas that day and tactics were genius but her only chance of a Cheltenham win is the mares with no Lossie imo. There is zero chance they get away with those tactics again imo.

So you think Lossiemouth would have beaten her that day?

if they clashed anywhere I think they would be very wary of each other

Only big opponents BDA can have from what I’ve seen are CH in the CH , and Lossie in the Mares.
