He did say that she may not stay 2 1/2 due to her style of running though

          Kargesse....

"She's very hard on herself, but she must be a seriously tough mare to do what she did last season. She was so keen at Aintree and had such a hard race when denied by Sir Gino that it was difficult to believe she could come back and win at Punchestown, but that's what she did. She has to be a Mares' Hurdle contender, but she'll need to learn to race with less enthusiasm if she's to stay that trip"

Think his two in the MH will be Kargesse and JDG with Gala going chasing.

                Yeah, cheers Lobos
Im ok with that to be honest, at least it’s the target, and they can work on the settling issue and hopefully sort it.

She certainly sounds like his number 1 for the race

Really?…….Kenny Alexander already has a Mare with Willie, a year older than Kargesse, yet still a novice last year, has won over 2 1/2 miles so the trip isnt a concern like it must be for Kargesse and is rated 8lbs better than Kargesse at the start of this season

Unless that is the Mare I am referring to (JDV) goes chasing !

Well, could well be is not a definite statement
I understand though that one of them was going chasing ?

Yes could be any of them as I believe both Gala and JDV are only just back in so haven’t been schooled over fences yet

Probably the best ever year for quality Mares 24/25 ?……seems a different world to the Quivega years

Is your JDV the same horse as my JDG ?

Chappers says Michael O'Leary has text him saying "The Mares will do for us" in regards to Brighterdaysahead. That should please the masses
