My opinion of course, but they've been basically saying for 2 years straight that this is the plan and to switch at the last minute is just a bit silly in my opinion. Yes plans change but even after she fell LTO they reiterated that it was still the plan

If Ricci is saying it then it is probably decided. He has said multiple times that he wont get involved in the race planning and leaves it all up to Willie. I don't think he would say that if some serious discussions hadn't taken place. PT get's a hot pot to ride in the Mares.
