interesting who Mark Walsh will choose

Got it wrong last year though

      100%

Shes a joy to watch over fences, that was a big run carrying the penalty today!

      • Just said in novice chase thread, she should go BANC for me. 8lbs swing with the winner there! Gives JP a runner in the BANC as well.

          Would have to be supplemented

However,JP is top heavy in this so could happen

Depends who is fit when it comes to the race. Imagine she will still be behind Grade 1 winner Dinoblue, last years winner Limerick Lace and multiple grade 2 winner Impervious (albeit not seen for almost two years).

She is a good staying chaser and agree with Craigy, the BANC should be considered. Think she will find a couple too quick unless it was to come up a bog.

Edit, just seen she isn't entered currently so would need supplementing.

If it's soft I think she's the one to beat
If it's good to soft, she's a bit more vulnerable

Yeah soft ground would be a help Kev

wasn’t soft when she impressed to win the grade 2 at Limerick though

The other two Jp horses haven’t shown the same form as last year

That race could of left a mark on both of them

                Just can’t trust ADV aswell

Hadn’t seen she wasn’t entered although a supplement wouldn’t be a worry. Naas is as stiff a finish as Cheltenham so 3m there wouldn’t be a concern.

Not saying she’d win the BANC but on todays terms she’d deserve her chance imo.

Need to move on from that, if they supplement her she'll be no price now

You'd want a big price relative to Dancing City, almost no chance of that ...

                    We can hope

                      Aye that’s very true

I wouldn’t back her, just feel on todays showing and a soft ground festival, she’d deserve to take her chance in the BANC with JP having no runner it seems at this stage.

                      • The guts of 2m5f on the new course will be perfect for her on the Friday. Gavin has said she’ll run once it’s on the soft side of good.

                        • Dinoblue still easily sets the standard this season on the back of the Hilly Way run and can maybe excused for the run at Xmas as the stable was under a little bit of a cloud.

I'd say Bioluminescene will get supplemented for the Brown Advisory anyway on the back of that today, JP's got no entries for the 3m novice while he still has Dinoblue, Limerick Lace and Birdie or Bust for this.

What kind of form has Birdie Or Bust shown you this season to warrant talk of a Mares Chase challenge?

                            • How often does JP supplement horses for novice races? Must be so few and far between

He doesn't have a runner in every race, happy running his own against each other

This narrative seems to be a bit of an echo chamber in here

I think 2m5f is great on the new course for a horse we know can get 3m

More chance of out staying Dinoblue than she's getting credit for

Absolutely, she has a bit of class about her too. She by no means need needs 3m. She looks every inch a chaser, Gavin is spoilt rotten with top class novice mares currently.

Sixandahalf, Only By Night & Bioluminescence

All look like they have different strings to their bows & the potential to go to the top table.
