Patrick kept repeating how small she is so perhaps jumping around Cheltenham might be more of an issue.
At 15.3, she wont be able to see over some of them.

      • Katchit was a fav, never chased as was considered too small for it,some hurdler though,he stood 16.0,buried at Barbury Castle with a few select others who were trained there.

        • Impervious last matched @ 16s, nothing on the lay side

Doesn't look like we'll be seeing her anytime soon unfortunately.

Dinoblue has looked like Mullins/JP horse for this race all season, 5/1 can be hit with some confidence I'd say...

Love the horse Ista, but god she looks a shadow of her former self, and I didn't like the way she folded so easily at Leopardstown lto.

Agree. She's a fav of mine but looks like she has fallen out of love with the game a little.

I thought it was just a horrible race all round, they all let the winner go and couldn't get near him, I'd say every pilot would like to have that race back.
And according to RPRs he's put in a performance 12lb better than anything he's ever achieved before on his 15th chase start, I'm prepared to write the race off.
I'd prefer to look at her Cork reappearance given what Banbridge has done since.
I know value is always contentious but looking at the race, and assumed lack of depth, do you not believe 5s is fair ?

I'd be happy to wait out on the race for now. I liked what Majestic Force did on debut but then she blew out horribly next time (albeit when all of Henrys ran like drains).

I'd be hugely interested in Only By Night if Gavin changed his mind about coming over with her, she oozed class since going over fences, and could be the real up and coming mare in the division.

                      • I’ve come round to ADV this season for the mares chase. If she wins the opera hat then I’d have renewed confidence in her winning on the third attempt

                        • I'm a fan of Dinoblue and think she was eased off after the last when it was clear she wasn't getting involved. She also wore a first time tongue tie which may not of had the desired effect. However, to back her at 5/1 or so I would want to see a bit more from her. Assume a similar route to last year so a 2nd or 3rd place finish in the Dublin Chase shouldn't do too much harm to her price.

                            She's not entered.

Good point. That is a concern. Maybe go Red Mills and carry a penalty, but gets her a confidence booster over 2 1/2 miles?
