Has to be a case for L’eau de Sud to be included in one of these, given RPR of 153 which would make him competitive at this stage, question marks about pretty much all those ahead of him.
Not sure if the 14s is still available but anything double digits could represent value….

So hard looking beyond Mullins lot though. LDS was visually impressive but it's pretty rare that anything comes from the PP meeting and wins at the Fez isn't it? I'm sure I'll be blitzed with stats now

Also, guaranteed not to run before selections are made so price will hold, not something that can be said about all those mentioned….

Given 153 on his second chase start, yet Inthepocket got a 154 for seasonal debut (appreciate he had one start over fences last season too), in a much lesser race.

I feel like it's just rinse and repeat with the English Arkle challengers until Nicky has one good enough, at least. Mind you, I probably would have said the same of the Turners last season, although I'm not sure L'eau Du Sud is the next Grey Dawning for the Skeltons.

I know Edwardstone came from the handicap route to win an Arkle, but he just about hit 150 as a handicap hurdler, and the Arkle he won was hardly vintage. L'eau Du Sud is at least 10lbs shy of that over hurdles and this is already looking like it could be a proper Arkle, but I do think Dan is doing a great job taking advantage of the early races over in the UK, which is a common theme with him, nowadays.

All valid points, it depends on where you rank this seasons Arkle, I've heard many say it will be an above average renewal and the Turners changes will strengthen its' depth etc etc etc, I can't see an obvious winner, negative comments about Ballyburn's schooling are doing the rounds and he would be a more likely stayer than Arkle horse for me.
Happy for anyone to convince me last seasons Supreme was a decent group and those horses will be Arkle class...

I had him down as a turners horse before that race was changed and had backed him early doors for that race and the arkle, some cash and some free bets, to be perfectly honest i was hoping he would go turners but his two mile form ain't non too shabby and willie did name check the arkle for him.

Will really depend how quick he jumps a fence imo
If he does jump them quick then his obvious staying power will be an asset.
Hes interesting but imo not value at his price.
For me he’s one for a WTAF bet.

Just look at how Gaelic Warrior won the Arkle last year and then remember how IEP beat Gaelic in the Ballymore…….fast horse that is probably faster than Ballyburn over 2m IMO……..if he jumps well in his first chase I could see him being fav for the Arkle

BOB OLINGER 66-1 for the Stayers Hurdle (with PP) is a cracking each way bet for the Yankee imo.
Reckon he ran to about 160-162 rpr on his seasonal debut so no disgrace being shaded out by Home By The Lee who was in receipt of 5lbs.
Twice a winner at the Festival (ok once was vey lucky) but won the Ballymore very nicely over just 3 furlongs short of the SH trip.
He’s happy to be held up and I’m convinced he’ll stay.
Apart from Teahupoo- himself no world beater - the race is wide open.
But will Henry skip the Fez and go straight to Aintree like last season.
Well, IF Constitution Hill returns to something close to his best Bob would almost certainly have to beat him to win at Aintree.
So taking on Teahupoo in the Stayers would seem to me a much better alternative.
Henry has already spoken about trying him over three miles again this season and I see him as a potential winner of the Stayers at a pretty amazing price.
Bob may have been in the wilderness for a while after a stellar novice career but he certainly bounced back to something approaching his best last season.

Fair enough, you could counter argue that the 2m form was against a poor generation.
I keep going back to the Supreme and want to give it some credit but I really struggle, even the winner was beat over the weekend and I can’t imagine any of the beaten horses improving past Slade Steel.
I want someone to prove me wrong so I can assess everythings chances without any pre-determined opinion….

Can anyone advise if there are 5 day entries tomorrow for the Morgianna? Just assessing the likely impact on the novice chase markets if he does (possibly a good time to top up, especially if there is a cash out option should BB go chasing).
