Don't have the figures but general consensus seems to be his reputation outweighs his actual results but that's probably the same for most professional tipsters.

Yes I think that’s the general perception, just wonder whether he has found a couple of nuggets in recent seasons….

Even a blind pig can find a truffle now and then

Don’t pigs sniff truffles out? I think they can smell them up to 1m below the ground. And if the theory that losing one sense heightens another, a blind pig could be the best sort for hunting truffles.

I'm not sure that theory is true but I'm basing my opinion off an episode of Father Ted where there was a blind priest so I don't claim to be an expert.

If it was true, my analogy would mean Pricewise is potentially an even greater tipster than we thought

I’d rather take tips from a truffle pig to be honest.

Sorry, I meant his Cheltenham ante post picks.
I know he used to be very good with Saturday selections, less so in recent seasons, but as AaronLad and Quevega have said those two winners to level staking probably meant his AP book showed a profit for last year....

33/1 for captain guinness so I'd imagine so.

Ruby Walsh previews the mares-only races at the Cheltenham Festival and he's got a high opinion of a Paul Nicholls-trained horse in one of the races.
