If, as has been suggested, Lossie has her wings clipped pre Cheltenham, or everything that could head to the Champion Hurdle does get there, and she reverts to the Mares it's basically a penalty kick...
I agree I’d rather swerve it until we’ve got more information

Probably makes more sense to stick Lossiemouth in at 9/4 as shed go off 1/4 if she ran in the Mares.

For the Mares ? It's not her primary target.
One non runner takes down 7 bets in yankee, personally I think the starting point for these yankees is to get the target right...

So difficult. I can think of only 4/5 with guaranteed targets.

Oh yeah it’s never easy but in the case of Lossie the 2025 Champion Hurdle has been a 2 year plan in the making, she may well end up in the Mares but if her initial target is another race to me it makes no sense putting her in the yankee.
Maybe if she was a wild 14/1 or something but 9/4 wouldn’t interest me…

….i recall MOM being very keen on Dancing City (BANC), not sure if the Turners being scrapped will impact that view but wouldn’t be surprised if he’s at least on his radar this month.

I think he’s gone from being one of the better value prices out there to one of the worst (sadly, as a backer)

                    I'd agree with this, GS.

The removal of the Turners and NHC as an option for graded quality horses means the BANC is going to have far more depth to it. That 10/1 now looks a bit skinny to me, and I say this also as a backer of DC!

I know he dominated the novice staying hurdle division in the main last year & won his ptp well but would Dancing City’s breeding worry anyone else for a campaign over fences?

Yep, and with Ballyburn potentially going that way you can't be confident

                          William Munny - 25/1 Supreme
Impressed in two bumpers last season before finishing 3rd behind a good yardstick in Redemption Day at Punchestown under what I considered a poor ride. There doesn't appear to me to be an outstanding candidate from the bumper sphere going hurdling this season (in the mould of say Envoi Allen, Ferny Hollow, Facile Vega etc.) and William Munny looks a strong candidate. Barry Connell has nominated the Supreme as his target.

Was going to post support for William Munny when I logged on and read this. That's some coincidence.

Like to see a double figure price for the Supreme go in this month's bet. Another vote from me for William Munny.

Always a huge bonus to have a target announced as well. Especially where the Novice Hurdles are concerned.

….forum favourite Langer Dan @ 25-1 might appeal to some given Skelton says he’s being aimed at the Stayers.
