  • Seen nothing there to change my opinion that teahupoo is the banker of the week.

maybe the mighty hill might change that opinion at kempton in the next few days. He could become the banker if he shows all his ability is still there by bridling lossiemouth.

He's just better than the rest of these, who look a very modest bunch.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see something similar to this year, with Home by the Lee and Buddy One also in the mix. I'd say the Skelton's would be confident of a strong showing by Langer Dan as well.

All simply not good enough. Unless one of Willies Novice's step forward and produce something spectacular Teahupoo just needs to get to the start in top form and he'll retain his title. Anything cSn happen if course but as Bankers go he's top of the list.

Nowhere near good enough. In truth It's a closed race now for me.

Ah ok, so one of Willies novices might be, but Lucky Place ain’t.
So he’s not an improver then? But they can be?
                Why??

                • Think it fair to say that Strong Leader is a lot better than that yesterday!!
I would not give up on him, and still think he’s a lively one for e/w.

He's got a long way to go to catch up as do Willies Novice's that may go the Stayers route but some of those are starting off with a higher rating than LP has achieved so far so have a head start with regards to further improvement . LP was beaten by Langer Dan getting weight in the CC and Langer Dan is just a very good Handicapper and won't be winning a Stayers. I also don't trust the form of his Ascot race as it turned into a bit of a sprint and everything finished on top of each other and two beaten horses that have ran since have both been beaten. In truth Carnage, I don't believe anything will improve past Teahupoo this season. Nowhere near.

Anything said by connections? It can't just be the RH thing can it ? He ran like a drain.

                        Ok, fair enough.
And take your points re Langar.
I think he’s(LP) an e/w shout in what looks like being a fairly crap race.
                        Hes on my side anyway.

He seems to be better left handed, but even so that was bloody awful!!

EW is ok although I'd be more inclined to wait for the day and look at prices 'Without Teahupoo ' so as not to waste the 'win' part of any EW bet. Just a thought.

                              Yep, that makes sense.
Offers on the day, always worth remembering that.
At the moment I’m looking at a few possible e/w shouts ante post as the prices allow that thanks to the fav.
But definitely will be looking on the day.

I thought Buddy One was a Chaser now Irish Rugby , although the Last run might have made them consider going hurdling again .. ?/.
