They should trust the horse a little more and let him run. If he runs away then fair enough, but once they gathered the pace and he settled better he behaved perfectly fine.
He might not be that good though, I get that.

Like giving a hyper active kid fucking skittles. Then telling the poor little fucker to calm down.
Did you see him go down to post? Quiet as a lamb

Maybe having horses infront of him riles him up

Should definitely try popping out infront next time, otherwise that price tag will start to look very silly very quickly

Gary Moore probably lets Mondo Man watch his iPad all day in his stable too

100% this, if he's quiet at home (Like the trainer has said) and quiet going to post it's near impossible to train them to stop racing so keen, as the only time you get to train it out of them is during a race,so they'll lose everytime trying this method of holding him up, pop him out in front, if he's relaxed when away from other horses let him bowl along in front, they've nothing to lose and everything to gain.

            • Is there many that would be happy to take current prices on Lulamba? I’d thought his form was very windy prior to today’s Adonis and I suppose today’s race has confirmed such?

What did todays race confirm in regards to Lulamba?

Mondo Man give the winner lengths at the start, only dropped his head before the turn in for home and walloped the 2nd last costing him the race.

If Lulamba is near his current BFX price on the day, I'll be going in with a decent amount with winnings from the week. I suspect though, he will shorten back into favourite come raceday.

3rd won since, 4th was second half length and 5th won since. Mondo Man should have won today. Not exactly windy form when he gave them all 10 pounds and won as he liked.

                  • If we're talking about windy form lines, then I'll give you a windy one..

Lulamba beat St Pancras 20L conceding 10lbs

St Pancras was only beaten 1 1/4L today in the Adonis

So Lulamba would have won it by the straight

Mambonumberfive only made it to the 2nd last on trials day. Mondo Man also pulled like a lunatic in Ascot.

You truly truly believe Mambonumberfive ran his race last time out?

I’m sure he improved. I couldn’t see Mambonumberive getting to the 2nd last in the triumph either though at the same time.

The 3rd won a juvenile in Ludlow and the 5th was having his first spin over hurdles. I’d just say it’s windy in comparison to his market position, he’s priced on potential?

What's so good with the east india dock form?

He hasnt beaten 1 horse that will be lining up in a Triumph

Its the Triumph - that's what all the UK form will be. At least the ones he's beaten are running well afterwards.

We don't know what the Irish form is worth as it's the same ones racing against each other.

He's priced on a mix of form, potential, trainer and owner. I'd imagine he'll be available at better odds on the day but that's true of 90% of the graded race horses at the minute. I'm happy with him as my dart in the race. EID looks a decent enough horse but he's going to set it up for Lulamba IMO.
