Keep it under your blanket but I think the Triumph winner will be English trained this year. Last one was Pentland Hills in 2019.

The Irish do look very modest
Almost backed saint lucie earlier in the week so very glad I didn't throw a couple of points away

TBF the pace has done Saint Lucie no favours and given the ex flat horse the best chance of winning, quickening off a slow pace is bread & butter for ex flar racers, I've not got her covered for anything but I'd happily place that run in the bin if I was on her as she wasn't winning after 3 hurdles today.

With the DRF again throwing much of a muchness from the Closutton yard:
Saint Lucie blowing out (Bled someone thought? unconfirmed)
Sony Bill not good enough
Charlus would have to improve greatly
Lady Vega only place prospects
Willy de houelle (improved, but would need heavy)
I'm fully expecting to see Willie throw something of note at this race as a free hit, looking at the entries that could come from
Larzac
Pappano
Too Bossy for Us
Lumiere du Large
Poniros
Blue Lemons
It will be intriguing to see how Legionnaire Forez gets on this week, as Willie declared him in a very winnable race, so they must be happy to kick on with him
The 4 ex GB flat recruits don't interest me particularly, Lumiere du Large looked promising at Pau but was readily out paced by the winner that day. I'd be hoping Larzac is the one Willie opts for, I don't think I've hidden my excitement for him and would be hopeful of some sort of positive update as we lead up into the festival.
I can't remember the last time we headed into a Triumph with no particularly outstanding WP Mullins juvenile at the moment.

Come on to this thread re. this weeks runners - Looking at the 2 Pauls riding Wednesday, I'd prefer PDLN over Legionnaire going on their respective debuts.

He did it with Burning Victory.
Triumph was looking very similar to this year also with UK horses topping the market.

Burning Victory I can't imagine expectations were so high when they sent her to the g3?
