Anyone heard anything about Gordon’s Zaynab for this? Could be one lurking at 50/1 (Denise, BF/PP) who’s price could end up far less than that in a few weeks…
Entered at the DRF in the race with all of those at the head of the market, decent performance there no way she’ll be 50/1 after.
Won first time out over hurdles at Listowel despite being hampered. Form of that’s been franked by the 2nd & 3rd winning again since.
Previous run before that was at Royal Ascot where not disgraced in the Sandrigham Stakes.
She’s clearly got speed & can jump. She’s also a full sister to Zanahiyr.
Belted and e/w on her this morning at 50s & gone into a couple of accs. too… on the off chance she runs well at the DRF & puts herself in the picture for this.

Might be Gordon doesn’t send her anyway but she improves at DRF & then again at Cheltenham there are worse 50/1 pokes that won’t be on day. All guesswork obviously.
She’ll get a 7lb pull in the Triumph & Gordon’s record in it is 2 wins & 4 places from 12 runners so thought telling if she actually turns up. A big if but obviously that’s currently reflected in price.

Nicholls has declared Hitman later on the card, so it may be that Sauvignon doesn't run.

I'm struggling to find anything in her form that points to her being a G1 winner in waiting...
Lack of real superstar in the division, as of yet. Lulamba/Mondo Man out this weekend, may change this.
She won as she liked, and as expected I guess, on debut, recording a high enough RPR.
Connections. Ricci/WPM. Vauban/Lossiemouth recency bias.
Willies record with mares by Great Pretender is something to note too, both Lossiemouth & Benie Des Dieux are by the same sire.
I'm not saying I think she is necessarily the correct price, but maybe some reasons as to why so short.

Nothing in her bumper has won and only one of those in her Auteuil debut has won since, and there are some seriously lowly RPRs in there....

East India Docks performance LTO aside, the rest have been a bit meh!
You could upgrade Hello Neighbours win, being his first ever run over hurdles and straight into a graded race against experienced rivals, but aside from that we await a potential superstar!
Could one be found on Saturday? Who knows!
