Appreciate that Lobos but I only put up the comments from OJA before the release, so hopefully some followed in from those words

Defi du Seuil style ??. .

Yeah, however now sounds like we'll have to wait until trials day in January to see him over here. Fingers crossed he travels as it'll mean he's likely to have won again in France.

        • May be one for the general chat instead but I'd been badgering sky to get rid of a load of unsettled old dead bets in my account and noticed an unsettled winner. Majborough to place in top 3 of both the Spring Juvenile and Triumph at 11s. Have been on chat asking them to settle. Worth checking...

          • Lakota Blue seemingly not fancied today for those that have backed Triumph

Would work out better taking todays odds and rolling onto the Triumph after if he wins now

            • Surprised no one has noticed the timely form boost for Stencil that occured today @ Compiegne.

Coeur D'amour beaten 3L by Stencil lto won a C2 hurdle today at Compiegne very nicely beating in the process The Workaholic who had form tied in with Mambonumberfive.

We don't need to as you are our French guru Darlo.

                      Was very impressed
Loads more to see, but best so far.
Well done those on odds before today.
Just managed 11 with a boost with Lads.
Not for much but will top up with next entry if funds allow!!

Agree, I just look for travelling, jumping and how they finish with juveniles and novices, and that was good on all three counts.
Will find out more with better opponents for sure.

                        • …….East India Dock;

“I’ve no plan as where to go next but all roads lead to the Triumph, he might just have the one more run before then.

“It’s amazing how the Gredley family are keeping these horses in training as they are very valuable in the overseas market.

“They want winners at Cheltenham, we did it last year with Burdett Road so now we just need to get this lad to the Festival now and hopefully we can have a bit more success.

“We’ve got quite a few this year so hopefully it gives us a few cracks at it.”

Owen went on: “He just relaxes more than Burdett Road did at this stage last year and I think the New course will suit this horse better.

“He’s run twice over hurdles now and he hasn’t made a mistake so he’ll probably have one more run and go straight to the Triumph Hurdle, that’s how high I hold this horse.”

He added: “We’ve got another horse at home who hasn’t run over hurdles yet who was slightly higher-rated than this fella on the Flat we really like called Lavender Hill Mob. He’ll be running in early December. He schools well too and likes soft ground whereas this fella likes better ground.

“This horse is just more straightforward than Burdett was, we know he’s going to stay, we can ride him how we want to and he’s taken to it really well whereas it took Burdett time to brush his jumping up. Burdett is a better horse than him and we’ll see tomorrow (Greatwood Hurdle) how much better.”

                          • Couldn't touch East India Dock with stolen money. Trainer says Burdett Road is better and he didn't even make it to the Triumph, and also states Lavender Hill Mob could be as good or better.

Once one of the decent English trained French breds meets him (not even one of Willies), he'll be shown to have a lack of gear.

                            • We can all read comments from connections and come to some sort of conclusion, but end of the day watching horses is the best way of judging imo.
Absolutely nowt wrong with that performance and at the moment he’s right up there with any juvenile we’ve seen thus far, very impressive in every way.
Now have to see how others compare.
All part of the Triumph build up, same every season.

                              • Sain D'esprit beats Nietzsche Has 1 1/2L in the Prix Cambaceres

Nietzsche primed for 1 day and 1 day only, and went very close. Arguably would have finished a touch closer if SD didn't run around infront of him.

That looks much better now for the Willy de Houelle form doesnt it

The pair finished 15L clear of everything else.
