  • So palla was smashed up and a sea of blue today obviously following Nickys comments.
However interesting - both are entered in the adonis this week... However i just found a trend that " Last 8 Adonis Hurdles winners (to have run in the race) have all lost (all unplaced too)"

    • Triumph Hurdle favourite could run in the Adonis instead of stablemate Palladium.

Talking up Lulamba possible for Saturday.
      Tune changing somewhat.

He did imply in his stable tour that he may be making a mistake not running him again and sending him straight there so maybe he's having second thoughts.

        • Sounds to me as though Lulambe will run but not Palladium!

          • He wants to get another run for Lulamba rather than a racecourse gallop, gain more experience.
I imagine Palladium is getting plenty of jumping done at home, which to me is what he needs.

              Yes it does.
As I will be there it would have been great to see them both and would have been fascinating, but would probably prefer to see Lulamba if only one runs.

              • kinda ruins any nrnb bets on Palladium - more than likely runs and the only way he won't drift on the day is if Lulambe blots his copybook and is weak / doesn't make it. On the other hand Palladium would either shorten significantly [With a win] or [more than likely] not go with a loss

How many Adonis winners were well fancied for the Triumph before the Adonis? In my mind the winner usually shortens right up but often is middle of the pack/markets before hand. Rare for an antepost favourite to be running in it

                  • Lulamba and Palladium drifting like a barge for Adonis. Doesn't look like either will run. Mondo Man gone strong fav.

                          • If one of them is declared for the Adonis, I'd suggest it's the yard trying to build their cheltenham betting coffers.

East India been getting closer to Lulamba all the time, as predicted weeks back.
Simply had to as the form is clear as day.

Hendo said he was giving both a spin today to see if they needed a run ? Perhaps he's decided after watching them that he will send both straight there.
