  • His jumping for a Juvenile is absolutely superb.

Think it was Delargy who summed EID up - he's a Burdett Road who can jump.

    • Viyanni out tomorrow (145 Lud) representing the Lulamba form. I note the 20 length 5th won the trial at the weekend. Viyanni qualifying for his FW mark. Can only see a couple up quoting him at 16s….might be interesting depending on how easy he wins by. Currently rated 118

he's not as quick as burdett road. Burdett road was a 1m2f flat horse, east India dock a 2 mile stayer on the flat.

Strongly suspect he will want further in time.

Lulamba will have a better turn of foot than him, it's just a question of whether he can actually get past. EID is a little terrier, you'd fancy him if it was a tight finish.

Yeah the only similarity is the owner. Completely different horses and a lazy comparison.

If he wasn't so small, and therefore questionable how much he will improve at 5 or 6, I'd be thinking he could be a stayers hurdle horse in the future

he's certainly not a hard pulling speedy horse like burdett

            Way way more straight forward

He blew me away watching him live on Trials day. No idea why I ignored him to that point. He was brilliant.

                • What price do people think east India dock will go off on the day ?

I have the favourite at good prices….. but I definitely want a saver on east India dock.

5/2 at the moment, but im holding fire at the moment…..I’m thinking he might get pushed out on the day, 7/2 maybe ?

Personally I think he should go off favourite, but I think he might be less popular on the day? As I guess the social punters are more likely to latch onto any Henderson, Mullins or Gordon horses !

                    Haha, quite the form boost

What are we expecting in the Adonis at the moment?

                    Palladium?

I've had the horse wrong all Winter but juveniles improve at different rates and I'd be surprised if there aren't a couple who start showing form at home that become the talk of the preview evening circuit.
                      I'll guess there'll be some 11/4 around...

Wonder if they throw mambonumberfive in there too, free hit.

Mondo Man a possible I'd say too. Wouldn't be too many strong challengers, wonder if any of the IRE are tempted to come across.

Would Palladium be the highest rated flat horse to run in a Triumph Hurdle ?

I am old enough to remember a horse that ran in an Irish derby, prix de larc de triomphe and a Triumph Hurdle

Don't know the answer to your q but didn't Rite of Passage run at Cheltenham and then won the Ascot Gold Cup?
