Yeah , long odds in he goes Triumph. Palladium would have to pull out a Lulamba type win in the Adonis to make them think. Two really good bullets to win a Supreme over a Triumph could be tempting though. Wouldn't want that though as he would be a danger to Mundi in what looks a poor Opener.

Do I think lulamba would beat burdett road as a juvenile? Yes

That's fair enough, just the opposite of what the figures do actually say

Lulamba was 132 and Burdett Road 133

        and East India Dock 143

The 7/2 and 7/4 are the wrong way round really .... very hard not to be impressed, I think you have to really want to not see it

I thought it was a strange way of looking at it full stop.
Never mind the opinion Burdett Road was better at that stage of their respective careers

Was he hiding much yesterday though in the end :/ ? His keenness doesn't help his finishing effort.

Will say the old track looks like it would suit him more which hasn't been commented on.

Don't get me wrong, he did look good and I don't have a penny on either of them!

                Hindsight and all that lol.
The Fred Winter isn't a race I can bring myself to get involved with until much nearer the time, they're basically all horses who have manipulated their way to a mark for the race because they're not good enough for a Triumph.
20 years they've had the race and I can't think of a horse who's gone on to win a decent race, Brazil maybe ?
                Horrible race.
Wait until preview season kicks in, there'll be 15 put up for the race...

I dont think he has to hide anything given the rating suggests he already has performed to a level good enough to win a triumph. he's not hit at any point so there maybe more there and jockeys comments suggested there is.

Need something in hand to win a Boodles with what will be plotted there. Can't have that his rating would win him a Triumph like but we'll not get into the ratings debate.

What did James say I didn't see that?

I think Darlojim is referring to Stencil not EID?

I think when his chance was gone there was plenty of arm waving, as most of the JP beaten horses seem to have

I wouldn't back him as favourite for the Fred Winter, but I took 12 NRNB when mentioned last week and can't be unhappy getting on the right side of SP as a general rule

                        • Might cash Charlus out after that

Just not winning a Triumph is he

                          • Charlus, another that won't be winning a Triumph.

Good enough on debut but it turned into a bit of a sprint. First 2-3f they were absolutely crawling.

He needed it to be ran like that to win, IMO, too. Was dead against him anyway as per previous chats on here.

Yeah I was shocked he was shortened so much in the market after the run myself, not like he was held up then finished well for instance, but 12s Nrnb aint bad.

I'll give you the one when the time is right though
