Yeah but now it's got the 12lbs penalty of DJ backing it, so he'll want to be bloody Pegasus!

Thought DJ asked for the price for the 2027 QM chase

Willy D H has over 6k of that 34k matched on him alone. And a fair amount at prices under 8s.

Every chance that was also yard money. Or not. Guess it doesn't really matter.
            Think it was FJ money......

Ascot was the plan which Jim heard so may not even be declared for Kempton.

I know that maybe 2 weeks ago maybe 3 max, there was very very little

But as has been said already, theres only been 34k traded on the market as a whole so very little upto now.

He could well be challenging for favouritism soon on there

East India Dock avail. @ 7.4
Hello Neighbour avail. to be backed @ 7.6
                    Lulamba @ 8
                    Since this post yesterday:

Traded on the race 37,080.41 (+3k(ish))
                    Traded on Lulamba 4,606.27 (+2k(ish))

I've nothing to go off in terms of experience with Exchanges really, but just looking at sheer volume for an unraced horse in a 24 hour period, this feels unprecedented to me? Doesn't mean he'll do anything worthwhile but it's a pretty mental move.

I haven’t got a bean on but I really hope what’s happening is simply because he is pulling up trees at home. I can’t stand the idea of this being smoke and mirrors and some folks getting sucked in. I know it’s life and we are all adults here but this is hard enough as it is. GL to you all that have invested, one way or another this feels like a future case study in waiting.

Said it yesterday but with that yard having a go every now and then and him probably having worked recently in readiness for an appearance soon. It has to be a combination of the yard and connections getting involved plus people latching on and the market being quite open anyhow.
Pretty bad reputation that stable for rumours and announcements vs exchange movements. So there's enough in that yard or connected to that yard dabbling.
The Epatante farting in her stable one was my favourite.
Obviously recently they've had it right off with C Hill and Sir Gino also.

In fairness, it's not just that yard, the gamble has been more significant than most because of the initial prices, but Salvator Mundi has been smashed in as well, both exchanges and bookmakers alike, over the past 24hrs or so, for the same owners as Lulamba.

I'm not sure if Joe or Marie Donnelly love a gamble, but on the basis of what we've seen over the past 24hrs I'd say it's probably likely!

No of course, all yards will to some extent. And some have to do it to survive.
Not against it at all, just find some of the gambles and scenarios funny.
Obviously not ideal for the image/perception of the Sport in general.

Both markets are awaiting a Fav so open to movements like this on a sniff of an entry, although Lulamba has come from much further back. like you said.
