    • Lulamba very popular tonight.

Blue across the board pretty much. Still some 20/1 with BetMGM but that's it!

          Never heard of them!

You're keen on Lulamba anyway though, no?

          • I had been holding off backing him because i have had a few not run yet and i am right at the end of the book (bar handicaps) i nipped to the bookies yesterday morning on my way to work literally just to back him. That was a good idea. I have missed a few the last couple of weeks.

Yeah I am, think he'll be best of the English anyway!

Due out in 10 days time or so IIRC.

There isn't much from Ireland currently, so that makes Lulamba the bet at the prices IF you are correct about him being the best of the English!

Yeah I got on @ his opening price of 33s a month or 2 ago and was happy to just sit on my hands until there was news on him. Hopefully he shows up well on debut like I expect him to and that should shorten considerably.

I suppose the only English credible/potential challengers are

East India Dock - poor priced fav for all he looked impressive, early season form, likely be seen again in the triumph trial end of the month
Mondo Man - Good flat form, but I'd have thought Gary would have had him out by now (gelded 24th Nov - no idea how long you need to leave off with them before running after that op?
Sauvignon - Flat speed won him the race lto IMO, form shown up well with Sony Bill running well in the g2
Live Conti - longer term prospect I'm told but if Skelton does campaign him, needs to be taken note of
Mambonumberfive - talked of as a chaser in the future, FR form would come up short
Palladium - wouldnt have him remotely on my mind

                  • Sauvignon has been entered in the Chatteris Fen at Huntingdon on 10th Jan.

Mambonumberfive and Lavender Hill Mob are in there too, not sure how much competition there would be from them though.
