Thank god someone has said it..

He's like the english Barry Connell - barring a festival winner

Every horse he has is a jetplane.

Someone just give Willy de Houelle the Triumph trophy already (cue the hammering tomorrow)

    • Nowt wrong with East India Dock!!
Best Juvenile performance thus far that I’ve seen.

Jumping cost that one today , no doubt.
Which can obviously happen with any horse, and even more so with juveniles.

That's a low bar though isn't it - how many races have we had with a realistic Triumph winner in so far?

He did nothing wrong, but he's just thrashed horses that'd be 100/1+ in a Triumph. A lot would be 100/1 in the Fred Winter

10 horses in Ireland could do that

East India Dock won't be winning a Triumph. Move on

If he was a proper horse, he'd be with a proper trainer

I’ve not seen a performance in Ireland yet , but no doubt their will be . Maybe tomorrow.
Just saying what I’ve seen so far, and I’m not saying EID wins anyway, just that he’s been the best so far imo.

Hopefully I come out the other end unscathed

Tbh I'm not expecting anything TOO impressive

First run since April, against race fit horses so we'll see.

Even Paddy said on SL podcast that he expects he could get tired after the last Not sure whether to take that as a positive or negative with it coming from him though

I feel the same re Lossiemouth.

                  We'll be ok though

                  • …Willie on Willy, maybe a bit unconvincing;

“He came to us with a good reputation and the form of his races has worked out. Everything he does at home looks good but he’s taking on good class horses from Ireland here with runs under their belt. I think he’ll be a very nice horse for the rest of the season, but this is a big test for his first run.“

                    • I know they aren't the be all and end all, but RP expected prices has him at 13/8.

He's either Jesus Christ reincarnated or a lot of people are going to be disappointed

                            • Good ride for the winner. Coul Dreamer went off far too quick but was brought into the race well.

But I'm not giving up hope

Ran with the choke out for 2m chasing a runaway leader, and look where he's finished

Surprised Nimble was even off today....
