That's a low bar though isn't it - how many races have we had with a realistic Triumph winner in so far?
He did nothing wrong, but he's just thrashed horses that'd be 100/1+ in a Triumph. A lot would be 100/1 in the Fred Winter
10 horses in Ireland could do that
East India Dock won't be winning a Triumph. Move on
If he was a proper horse, he'd be with a proper trainer
I’ve not seen a performance in Ireland yet , but no doubt their will be . Maybe tomorrow.
Just saying what I’ve seen so far, and I’m not saying EID wins anyway, just that he’s been the best so far imo.
First run since April, against race fit horses so we'll see.
Even Paddy said on SL podcast that he expects he could get tired after the last Not sure whether to take that as a positive or negative with it coming from him though
“He came to us with a good reputation and the form of his races has worked out. Everything he does at home looks good but he’s taking on good class horses from Ireland here with runs under their belt. I think he’ll be a very nice horse for the rest of the season, but this is a big test for his first run.“
