Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I suppose if they see any chink in the fav they might have a think, but I suspect it’s keep both options open until late as possible before committing when they have more idea of opponent and ground?
A few pundits have said the same and reckon the CC could turn out an easier prospect than the Ryanair. I tend to agree. Like it or not, GW was a big player at his best.

    • I've never been a particular fan of Jonbon as I think he has a tendency to sulk when taken on for the lead. Nico generally gets him going soon enough to get over that but it's usually against inferior opposition. I also think that he'd be better over a longer trip.

It's easy to envisage Solness poaching a decent lead and this course lends itself to the leader taking a breather down the hill before whipping round the final bend and setting sail for home. I'm not sure that Solness is good enough to see it out but he might set it up for something else that is more straightforward than Jonbon. Marine Nationale maybe.

Yeah it’s possible they may think it’s easier, not sure myself, but see what they do.
Not a case of liking or not, just opinion.
        Anyway don’t matter now unfortunately.

James Reveley said last night that he thinks is IEF should go to the CC but the owners/trainer are scared of Jonbon and that is why they are going to the Ryanair.

I know but now it's Jonbon. JR very vocal that he thinks that they should go CC but that's not the plan. He did say they are planning on going to the Gold Cup next year all going well this year.

So far it looks like they got the prices for the race they wanted, see if GW ends up declared next week now.
