Really lads. Matata is going to win the QMCC. Have you all been on the piss. Even NTD said after the race "I think all those behind him had alternative plans for todays race because he hasn't improved 20lbs all of a sudden". Basically suggesting there were not many behind him trying very hard.

There are horses far worse than Mateta that have placed at odds of much shorter than the 90/1 highlighted earlier today
Or the amount of times it's been 7 runners or less in that time
Funambule Sivola's placed twice for starters
Craigy14 - have you ever had a big priced placed return mate? Or does the fav beat 2nd fav and 3rd fav in that order every race?

An outing in the Champion Chase now beckons for Matata, who was cut into 33/1 by Sky Bet for the Grade 1 test.
Twiston-Davies added: “He will go to the Champion Chase now and then maybe go two and a half miles at Aintree. We know he runs well around Cheltenham and he could run into a place.”
I agree with big NTD

Good luck retiring on your Triumph Hurdle hype horse, the 12th this season .... (the effort I've just had to go to just to try and find a slight dig was way OTT there)
Mateta is shite by the way, but so was Funambule Sivola the two years he placed, so was Politilogue when he was 25/1 ante post, so was Special Tiara the year Douvan didn't get around......
Knocking an 80/1 shout isn't what I like to see .....

Still nowhere near as good as the traitors but an improvement.

Give me the 80/1 ew any day for an improving 2nd season novice with Cheltenham form.
