Jonbon, I wouldn't worry about him at Cheltenham, his record is pretty sound there.
It's more what the opposition will be, and can do, that makes him a winner or not in the QMCC in March, rather than the course."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I'd question that Sax. There's no doubt his record at Cheltenham is very good and at the highest level BUT it's a few pounds better elsewhere which unfortunately for him makes all the difference when he takes on the very best at Prestbury Park.
I think that's very fair....... even from me !

I think Jonbon is a very good horse. The problem i have is that i don't think he will reach his potential over 2 miles. He looks awkward trying to jump fences at pace. Longer trip, slower tempo and i think he becomes a better horse.

I've backed him for the Ryanair but regretting that at the moment

I think there’s a danger of people over egging Quillixios’ win last weekend, he was nothing short of horrible in last seasons Arkle and as a chaser he looks well off G1 level to me, even UK G1 without the Irish….
