To my eye Marine National has forgotten how to jump a fence. I don't think he has a prayer in March jumping like that. Maybe just a lack of experience. Quilixios looked much the better 2 mile Chaser.Comment

I might be hearing what I expect to, but sounds like a squeaky wheeze as Marine jumps the last. The kind of noise you often here jockeys describe when they say a horses wind needs doing.

Well, I said Marine Nationale was too short when opening up at 4/9. Big drift, and typically I picked the wrong one to take him on with
