Anyone heard anything re Gaelic Warrior maybe coming over for the Tingle Creek?
Cant seem to find anything myself
In the Sporting life stable tour , pretty sure Willie Mullins say's Gaelic could run in the King George .... " would have no problem going further ...
and come back to the 2m for the ch. chase . " ... something like that if i recall correctly ..

Yeah I have seen talk of the KG
Was hoping he would go to Sandown and take on Jonbon
Will be there and would be great to see them race round there, would be a spectacle I reckon
Gaelic warrior pisses up at Kempton, drifts in market for champion chase then absolutely hoses up !!!!
Don't think he'll be turning up at Kempton. Tingle Creek would be more of a possibility imo. He did mention the John Durkin as a starting point as he seems to do with every one of his !
I originally had Il Etait Temps for the Clonmel Oil and King George, but given Gaelic has been namechecked for the King George, I changed that. No idea where that leaves IET though in all honesty. Gaelic Tingle Creek and IET Clonmel/King George would make more sense imo - even if it fucks up several of my tasty looking bets...
You are a brave man Odin. Hard enough just trying to guess their end games. Love to see Gaelic let loose around Sandown. He'd force Jonbon back down the Ryanair path.

Brave man also to be so dogmatic about GW beating Jonbon in his own backyard imo
Would love to see them meet though,as said before would be some race.

Think he'd make Jonbon go dizzy Carnage if they ever met. Take him off his feet.
Don't get me wrong, Jonbon is a very good horse but put him up against the very best 2m from across the water and he'll get beat every time. Have been saying for some time now that he's a stayer. Should be going for the Ryanair and also would go well in a KG.

I think IET is fairly sure to go the KG by the sound of it (for now )

Looking at their respective race records I’d still say it’s a brave man that says GW beats J so comfortably that it makes connections of J change his festival target.
I too think J would be a big player over further, but his Grade 1 record over 2m is still darn good imo
And his record at Sandown is very good.
And he beat the best from Ireland fair and square there.
Interestingly, Jonbon has run 4 times at Cheltenham and has won once. His jumping in the Clarence House was horrific.
2024 Clarence House - 2nd to Elixir de Nutz
2023 Shloer - 1st beating Edwardstone
2023 Arkle - 2nd to El Fabiolo
2022 Supreme - 2nd to Constitution Hill
Could be that Cheltenham just isn’t his favourite track?
