Anyone else get the feeling willie is running as few horses as he can in some of the graded races this year, as a sort of middle finger to the rule makers for getting rid of the turners and nh chase as graded races? As if to say the remaining graded races will still be small fields if he wants them to be.

It's a problem on the flat and jumps

there is a dearth of high class Horses around

Horses just aren't as hardy as they used to be, the over watering has weakened the breed imo

The jumps is also struggling because so many of the 2nd/3rd tier middle distance flat horses are being sold to Hong Kong and Australia not going over hurdles

Likely why the 2 mile hurdle division has been so shallow in recent years

If so then what a great idea, doing himself and owners out of possible prize money & runners at the sports olympics because he's upset about a BHA decision.

They have to just let him roll over 2 miles. See how he comes out of the race. He was desperate for it and if all is well in a few days, just put him where he needs to be. The Champion Chase. He is just like Dysart Dynamo and will never get it out of him. Get him about 2 lengths off Solness and just let him roll.

I find it quite sad to see what is happening with El Fabiolo. He was 2/9 Fav for the QMCC less than 12 months ago and looked like being a multiple times winner of the race. Is it confidence ? Or just fallen out of love with the game ? Either way I think the owners should think long and hard about what to do with him. Obviously I have no idea if he is showing a love for the game at home. Just being a horse loving softy.
