Personally I think SM has very little chance of winning but I would not in all candour be able to give Lossiemouth a totally free pass if he chose him. I’m sure everybody will be gushing in support of Lossiemouth if he chose her. Sounds like a heads I win tails you lose situation
That's not what I was saying. Both his potential rides are very much up against it vs the front 2.

It would be a dumb decision IMO (to phrase it better)

Obviously the work this week will have a factor.
He can't ride the other two. Although I'm sure he would if he had the option - so a choice between the two assuming they are both working well, is a no brainer.IMO
Which would make him dumb on this occasion if he chose State Man

    • From what I’ve seen this season there’s imo a fair chance that whichever horse PT picks he could be well be so far off the pace early on that it won’t really matter!!
That’s if Lossiemouth actually runs here.
He will know that in the form she was in last time that BDA will set off at a fair pace and won’t be stopping, so will not be able to let her go like he did last time, and then you have the potential of them just folding.
I just don’t see connections risking that happening with Lossiemouth when there’s another race she can win without her suffering much.
Thats of course if they think as I do!!
      Probably they don’t though

        IMO
A horse that’s been beaten 3 times by two opponents or one that’s a bit unknown.
Agree. As long as she is all good then I too believe he'll choose her over State Man. He's shown his loyalty already and now needs to think of himself. She's Willies number 1 chance whatever anyone says.

          The market certainly does.
He's available at 16's on exchange right now.
And C Hill is getting a lot closer to BDA as I expected.
The 9/4 about her NRNB was decent.
I think he'll go off odds against, maybe even money. Only counter to that is the yard and vibes going mental on C Hill, which could happen and then in that case it may be game over.
Cos anything like his supreme of first champion hurdle and the rest are up against it big time.

Do you think they will even leave her in the race on wednesday at 6 day entry stage ?
I reckon they've already seen the forecast.

Gordon has said she'll be in the entries, in a 'interview' with Blogger, but said it's nothing to worry about Not even sure why they would keep the entry, what can possibly happen for them to change their minds? Her work prior to the race, maybe? That's probably it.

I read the racing post article looking to see if he'd said that.
                  It'll be the potato printer.
I'd love to ask the logic in keeping her in for a race half an hour apart.
Blogger wouldn't dare ask, he's to busy moving his fucking pupils back and forth.

                  • Im 99% sure she'll go champ now but if your in heavy why not hedge, its not for evryone of course as its a lost point but it just suits my approach thats all.

And it might just suit others too
                      Fair play for mentioning it

                      • Brilliant for the race - was tempted not to attend the Tuesday if it would have been 4x odds on shots .... which it is much less likely to be now

As others have said (and isn't really worth saying) - let's hope Lossiemouth runs as well, then it's a Champion Hurdle that could be talked about alongside some of the best we've had

FWIW, I think I'll end up in the Constitution Hill camp but nothing is ruled out yet

If you are 99% certain then you should want at least 100/1 just to run in the race...

                          • He should be on Lossie and agree he would be mad not to. My prediction for State Man is he gets left at the bottom of the hill tailed off and probably retired.
