It’s a grade 1 at the Cheltenham festival, nothing sh!t about it and plenty of time in her career to move onto other objectives. Elliot saying that he’s keeping an eye on the other horses and a lot can happen between now and the festival. Well none of the horses (CH, SM, LM) are going to run again, so he’s basically meaning that any of the horses could pull out through injury or unforeseen circumstances like CH last year. Unless anything changes in the champion hurdle picture and I don’t expect it will, they’ll be taking the free 1 in the maresOriginally posted by Brooksie View PostComment

Why skip DRF then with BDA if she is targeting the Mares Hurdle? Assuming Lossiemouth goes Champ Hurdle if BDA goes Mares then she will have 20lb in hand on RPR over the next best of Jetara. She could have run at the DRF then still gone Mares and run a stone below her best and win easily as she has that class edge. In my mind, she was saved so she could peak in the stronger race.Comment

She’s already had 3 runs this season. Def better just giving her a break to freshen her up. That run at Christmas she bolted up but it could still have taken plenty out of her given it was a career best by a country mile. Be very silly running your best horses into the ground.
