    Would be embarassing.
Even more so if they go a crawl and BDA gets done for toe again by a 145 rated thing.

      That would be brilliant karma.

They'd spin it though and say they were proved right

Most amazing thing about Fitzy's insight article is that it filled a whole page, when just a picture of him with glazed eyes would have done just fine.
Maybe a different picture for each horse.
Like them old fashioned photo booth shots.

What’s she going to be for the mares on the day 4/9? And if she’s declared for the champion hurdle 9/4 roughly? She’s only 6 and will want to break her Cheltenham duck this season and fully prove herself at the track given Golden ace beat her last year. Then next year then can start thinking about the champion hurdle if she wins well. The only way I see her running in the champ hurdle this season is if something happens to Constitution Hill
She's apparently going chasing next season, which is why I find it hard to believe they keep her back a whole season for a shitty mares hurdle race. I imagine their line of thinking is we campaign her like a champion hurdle horse until she's beat.... and that didn't happen.

I was really hoping to see her jump fences as she reminds me an awful lot of Mighty Potter...but now the more I think about it, if she were to beat Con Hill, they might just look at retiring her for breeding. What with the quality of horse Matnie has produced, if BDA was to be successful in that sphere the O'leary's might have half an eye on their breeding operation.

It’s a grade 1 at the Cheltenham festival, nothing sh!t about it and plenty of time in her career to move onto other objectives. Elliot saying that he’s keeping an eye on the other horses and a lot can happen between now and the festival. Well none of the horses (CH, SM, LM) are going to run again, so he’s basically meaning that any of the horses could pull out through injury or unforeseen circumstances like CH last year. Unless anything changes in the champion hurdle picture and I don’t expect it will, they’ll be taking the free 1 in the mares

                  • Why skip DRF then with BDA if she is targeting the Mares Hurdle? Assuming Lossiemouth goes Champ Hurdle if BDA goes Mares then she will have 20lb in hand on RPR over the next best of Jetara. She could have run at the DRF then still gone Mares and run a stone below her best and win easily as she has that class edge. In my mind, she was saved so she could peak in the stronger race.

She’s already had 3 runs this season. Def better just giving her a break to freshen her up. That run at Christmas she bolted up but it could still have taken plenty out of her given it was a career best by a country mile. Be very silly running your best horses into the ground. I feel her target had nothing to do with it, she was given a well deserved break imo

Yes, that all sounds very logical but until I hear something out of the mouth of either of the O'Leary's I will assume the target is still the Mares.

Can get 2.98 for a chunk on her for the Mares

Strange considering Gordon reiterated that the decision will be made a week before the festival and here we are 4 weeks out still.
