  • Hold on I thought it was 5 runs for hurdles 4 for chases?

So another run required and 2 for Anzadam.

Yeah I was talking about Anzadam. He won't be going a handicap anyway.

            It certainly did

I didn’t even know that rule was just for novices! All these changes are confusing me, although maybe just not reading them properly hasn’t helped

Paragraph 15 on the Weights and Handicapping Code was only amended to require that novices run five times.

So I actually think a non-novice only requires three prior runs.

You need to refer to about three documents to work it out, and there all squirrelled away by the BHA. They really don’t make it easy.

Is this the same for chases then? I was thinking that the likes of indiana dream needed four runs to qualify for a handicap chase at the festival, but since he's not a novice, would he only need three runs?

The changes were made by the jockey club, specifically for races at the Cheltenham festival.

They weren't across the board changes by bha.

I think it needs clarifying either way, given there's clearly uncertainty.

                      • State Man very weak on the exchanges.

Nothing to lay, last matched at 23.

Just enhances the probability that Lossie goes here for all the doubters, time for a press ?

You would have to think so, given it's been the '2 year plan' as Willie has mentioned on more than one occasion.

Lossie & Anzadam for Willie, Constitution Hill, and then that just leaves Brighterdaysahead, whom I don't think we'll get a decision until the decs now!

Sorry! Not sure why he didn't get his own line. Probably be a 3 horse race. Glorified gallop.
