  • Nowhere near his best and she couldn't touch him. What a horse. I hope Nico lets him fly at Cheltenham and get that ridiculous rating he can get.

    • Not had a penny on, but I don’t mind saying I’ve got a tear in my eye, just to see him coming back.

      • Great race. I think they’ll both improve at Cheltenham and hope they reoppose.

She has even less of a chance of beating him if they reoppose, just send her to the mares against BDA

          • Hopefully both go to the CH as think both will improve and can be a decent match up with a bigger field too! Great horse and really can be one of the greats!

            • Fair play to Willie for trying, but she belongs in the Mares race

              • The Mares hurdle is going to be some race now.
Just delighted for connections, those who mind Constitution day in,day out and of course Henderson, who's endured all kinds of nonsense from online experts for best part of a year.
Can't wait to see CH in march now taking his 2nd Champion Hurdle.

Probably so. But a horse of that quality would really add to the race.

                  • He's definitely back. Great to see him back in good health. A bit to go to hit his best but he should come on from that. Lossiemouth hated the track and ground but was running on well at the finish. She'll be much better back at Cheltenham. They'll give it another go against him for sure.

She can’t cope with him, not in the same league.
She was struggling very early and he wanted to go quicker
She won’t take him on again over 2m imo.

If BDA beats State Man again they might still have a go at the big one.

                        • Lossie never looked quite with it. I think it was Ruby mentioned the slightly slower pace of running in the Hatton’s Grace might have disadvantaged her. Maybe WPM will think he can prep her better for CH in March. She jumped the last level with Burdett Road who made a mess of it and was still only beat a few lengths by her. Feel she ran well below her best.

                          • She's been beaten 2l without travelling or jumping with any fluency, I think everyone's a bit emotional after the race writing off her chances, I think she could 100 per cent turn it around in March.

It's hard to believe constitution hill was anything short of fully fit today as it was no ordinary seasonal debut, and I think running over 2 and a half so often has caught her out early in the race, especially on a pretty sharp track.

I doubt there would be a whole lot between them at Cheltenham.

Different track, maybe softer ground and why wouldn’t you go to the CH with Lossiemouth and have another go ?

Don’t see her going for Mares, PT says she ran flat today and still gets within a few lengths of the Hill…..maybe her best rating wise performance ever ?

75 days to go before the CH, still all to play for !

He will be at his best in March.

Shes just not quick enough for his level.
