  • If Lossiemouth beats him I don't believe the result will be any different at Cheltenham as I'm not convinced Kempton will be right up her street.

That's exactly how I see it too.

      • Aye, a Lossiemouth lengths bet will be something I look out for. While wanting constitution hill to win

I'd say Kempton doesn't really suit either of them, to be at their absolute best.

Plus CH will be expected to come on a fair bit for a run.
So a win for Lossie won’t mean that’s it for CH, unless it’s a run that tells us he’s gone!!

Yeah, I think everyone has to accept pre race that Constitution Hill can and likely will come on for the run, except if he's out the back of the TV of course!

              • Fear not Constitution Hill fans, he's been schooling with Willmount so should be really sharp !

                • The Wonder Mare....

"Some things push you back in your seat. Others make you lean in. Our flying French mare Lossiemouth taking on the pride of Britain, Constitution Hill, in the Christmas Hurdle on Thursday has the capacity to do both. Lossiemouth was exceptional in the Hatton's Grace, exceeding even the effortlessness she showed at Cheltenham last January. She has the attitude of Hurricane Fly and Quevega, understanding the aim of the game: to beat the others. But Constitution Hill is not like the others; or at least he wasn’t before. Kempton will tell us if that is still the case."

If we’re fans of racing, then we should all be Constitution Hill fans. Surely we want both CH and Lossiemouth to turn up fit and well and give a great account of themselves. May the best horse win.

Absolutely all fans or racing should want the best clashing at the Olympics!!

                        • Every time we get a real good one we seldom have competition like the old Night Nurse , Monksfiejd days.
Be great if we could have a year or two like that again.
Maybe Lossie and CH possibly SM can provide that .
And BDA, cos I think he would be interesting in a CH.

Yes definitely. Think everyone wants that.

                            • Yeah, we all want this show down
for me, Lossie wins this. Race prep being a major factor for me, she ain’t no joke.

question is, can con hill run to 170 on his first run back? I’d say he’ll be short of that mark on his first run back from a year

I agree with you, if Con Hill is within two lengths of her you have to think there will be further improvement come March and what a race it will be.
