I obviously would not have a clue how much weight they carried but It sounds to me like he’s sticking up for his horse amongst the comments made, by implying that CH had more weight?
      But that’s just guessing.
We just need to see him run, all the talk is just that!!

        • Sir Gino is another hugely exciting talent, although a rather more convoluted conundrum, with De Boinville tight-lipped on whether the Fighting Fifth winner will stay hurdling or switch to fences.
"We have loads of options, but nobody knows," he said, before admitting: "Well, I know, but the boss hasn't come out and announced it yet and I'm not going to be the whistle-blower. This isn't WikiLeaks and I'm not Julian Assange.

"Everybody's in such a rush, they want to know everything yesterday. Remember he's still only four so he's a very young horse and we'll get there in our own good time."

          He's staying Hurdling. IMO!!!

Yep. Think public are sick to the teeth of it now. Most proper racing fans want to see him come out and blitz everything again. He truly looked like he was going to dominate for years to come. Let's hope he makes it to the Xmas Hurdle and show us all what we've been missing.

                  • Watched Ruby on RTC and very, very clear what side of the fence he sits re the Constitution Hill v Lossiemouth debate !! Get your Lossiemouth Mares Hurdle bets on !!

He also said Gordon will run King of Kingsfield as a pacemaker for Brighterdaysahead v State Man. I reckon he fancies BDA to turn him over again.

Man employed by trainer of Lossiemouth favours Lossiemouth for hypothetical race, well consider me shocked.

The only thing I took away from Ruby's comments on RTC was that if Constitution Hill beats Lossiemouth and State Man beats Brighterdaysahead then both Mares will be heading to the Mares Hurdle in March and not the Champion Hurdle.

                              Absolutely.

He did make a big point about KOK making the running this time though instead of BDA doing the donkey work as he didn't think it suited her at all last time and that she did a lot wrong but still won. He's not as confident SM winning as he is CH (should they meet). I agree with him. I do think BDA will turn him over again.

                              • If BDA beats SM again then Gordon has a decision to make. I don't think he wants to make that decision. I think he wants to take BDA to win the Mares Hurdle. That happens to align with my AP betting strategy too. Go State Man !!!!!
