I thought I'd go and watch before weighing in because at face value it looks fucking daft.
But having watched it he mentions that she's never run a 2 mile race as fast as Sir Gino did Saturday, and then goes on for ages about why he rates Sir Gino, even given the relatively poor horses in behind.
He also goes on to downgrade (a little) what Lossie did to better horses on account of the timings between other races that day and ones the day before, which are also pretty sketchy IMO.
RPR's reflect that the race was slowly run, although I think they've been overly cautious with the RPR's myself having given Teahupoo high 160;s the two previous years, both later found to be probably high based on who he battled it out with's subsequent efforts. No battle Sunday whatsoever.
So it was a needless pointless brief mention rather than a direct comparison. IMO.
I'll let you off Darryl.

Paul - Ermmmmm yeah I'd have no problem the way he jumped early to come back if you wanted to, as a novice anyway, no I think he opened a lot of doors today.
Lots of moving parts though this early in the season!

Momentum also gathering pace again re Constitution Hill.
I did have a bit on 33,just in case, as he did look impressive, but would not touch 14.
No idea how good he will be come March, but good to see some different ones emerging.
Fingers crossed for C Hill !!!

Wonder if we’ll see a late switch from Gino. Wouldn’t be the biggest shock would it.
