She's never raced against a proper grade 1 horse before and teahupoo has already downed honeysuckle and impaire in that race.

Its a big race for her tomorrow. Teahupoo loses and just gets outspeeded it does no harm to his stayers chances. But she loses tomorrow its the mares hurdle for her at Cheltenham i reckon.

As it stands teahupoo with lossie mares is 8.17/1 on skybet

Teahupoo with state man 8.55/1 with paddy

Might be two related doubles for those heavily invested in lossie champion hurdle to consider as cover before tomorrow.

I just think now that Paul Townend will sit behind and without Jack I don't think he'll do it a 3rd time...

I'm largely of the same opinion and quite happy to take her on until she shows the same sort of performance against genuine grade 1 horses. I wasn't overly sold on the crop of juveniles when she won the triumph and beating up Gala Marceau repeatedly is a long way off champion hurdle standard. Albeit she has done it impressively.

She'll have to get by Teahupoo in his backyard tomorrow, that's a different proposition entirely. Still can't believe she's so short for the champion hurdle tbh.

Mystical Power head carriage throughout was poor,might be a problem there.
Sir Gino jumped better than last season,won nicely,still rather see him chasing.

So yeah I'd say taking into account ease of win/irish debut I'd be thinking it'll be 145/146

Arkle?

I just can't see him running in The Champion hurdle if Constitution Hill is fit and State Man runs.

AP McCoy said Sir Gino schools brilliantly over fences and he looks like an Arkle horse. It will be interesting though to see how he is campaigned this season. If he stays over hurdles this season he has to be a max bet for the 2026 Arkle surely?
