I decided that years ago, and now with these relationships between trainers and bookies, that ain’t likely to change.
I will listen to trainers and quite enjoy doing that, but am real careful with what they say with regards to parting with money.
Agree. Only time to back him for the CH now, if at all, is when hes actually on the start line in March. He'll still be a backable price.

If you are talking about C Hill , he will be odds on if he turns up, cos imo he will only turn up if he’s proven with his runs this season.

Agreed I feel like if they don't make the Christmas Hurdle or he under performs then we may have seen the last of CH.

Disagree. He'll have just the one run possibly two at a push and they'll only tell us he's fit. Sir Gino or Mystical Power could look brilliant next weekend. Whilst over the water we could get 2/3 top performances from other challengers. I don't see him going odds on again at all especially with everything that has gone on.

It’s touch and go that he makes Xmas. If he does then yes he has to perform something like his best imo.
They probably need to find another race for him as well, whether he makes Xmas or not, I guess the international?
And then he has to convince them he’s around his best then.
So basically he’s proved he’s good enough to run a big race in March or he don’t run.
              5/1 available, worth the gamble??

I’m saying that he has to prove to his connections that he’s around his best, not just being fit.
They will know if he is or not.
And if he has done that, odds against would be a gift.
No other horse has a rating anywhere near him at his best.

It’s not easy when he keeps having microphones put in his face
He would probably prefer it if he was left alone.

I'm just not convinced at all Carnage. Don't believe we'll ever see him hit the heights of 23 again and because of his problems and fragile background most punters have lost faith completely.

Nor am I Lobos, and we may well not see him as he was, I’m not saying what I think, I’m trying to work out what his connections are thinking.
I may be way out, so be it if I am.
Anyway I hope it goes quiet now, the media leave him alone, and the next thing we hear is whether Kempton is realistic and being back in full training.

Exactly, he's gonna be asked constantly about Constitution Hill by the racing media and he's just answering the questions, he'd be slated if he didn't so can't win !

Including the allowance, Imagine that would put her right up there with all bar CH for their early runs before winning the Champion Hurdle in recent years ?

I get the feeling by the time the season ends we'll look at these ratings and conclude they were too high.
State Man 166, the bible believe that performance was just 4lb below his best and 6lb better than his champion hurdle win.
He looked big beforehand and wasn't primed for the race, I'd suggest Willie left more than 4lb off...
