State Man was behind in work as far as I know

I'd say SM would reverse that next time, and Gordon thought as much aswell

Johnny Dineen is adamant Gino still goes chasing also (good friends with joe donnelly)
That just makes absolutely no sense to me about Sir Gino if true. Why is he going to the fighting fifth an open Grade 1 hurdle, instead of cracking on with his novice chasing career. What will he get one chase run then Arkle? Given Hendo wraps them in more cotton wool than any other trainer.

Edit - Ill get my coat.
Ran really well. Came there and blew up. Has missed a fair bit as picked up a muscle issue so will strip fitter next time. With BDA sure to go CH now, she's deffo in the mix.

she looks too girly to me, needs a speed test, not a serious championship for hard nosed bitches.
She got away with it last year IMO.

Prize money can't be sniffed at, could understand why they give him 1 spin over hurdles pick up some good prize money then 2 novice chase runs before the festival. Already sounds like they've extensively schooled him and jumping isn't much of a worry. Although I do think Jim's comments might just be tongue in cheek..

              • So apparently now CH is unlikely to make Kempton according to RTV just then

                • It is hard to believe that having a stone bruise can make you favourite for a Champion Hurdle

This ante post betting is a bit of a joke isn't it

Sounded to me the way Gordon was speaking O'leary was wanting to go Mares way too. .

The problem I have with it all Brooksie is it wasn’t the plan. His season or targets are changing because of another horse in the yard.

Think I’ll leave the champion hurdle and Arkle for a good while antepost

Looked to be carrying some timber to my eye anyway
