According to RTC - CH unlikely to make F5 at this stage. So not retirement anyway it seems. CH did look big in that gallop, so hopefully just fitness

Hopefully not serious and he’s back to fight another day.
Be interesting what happens with Sir Gino next week
So how do you feel now with regards the comments they both made after the obviously disappointing gallop the other day. ?
And in hindsight, would you now concede that although you can understand them saying those type of things (I can), that maybe what they said should not have been taken seriously as any sort of evidence in regards the horses condition/well being ?
Basically can you not spot a brave face when you see one ?

So many people questioned the gallop, and I'm not talking about Dave on X who thinks he's a racing expert, I mean the actual experts, the former jockeys etc... and yet they sat there and all Nico could say was 'well he's a good price now, isn't he', like it was some sort of masterplan. He must have been OK immediately after the gallop. I'm pretty sure someone at Newbury would have noticed the limp if he wasn't . So it must have become apparent in the following days, and the markets seemed settled until this morning.

Punters just second guessing.

No different as they didn’t know he was lame at that time.
Sure they would not have said they were happy if they knew.
As far as In hindsight………..I guess it depends what sort of person you are, I’m probably a bit too trusting, although I am aware of trainer quotes not always being straight over many years of following this game.
