They won't want Golden Ace to face him first up when they can go for an easier mares race.

Brighterdaysahead - surely they've learnt their lesson after Samcro.

Mystical Power - I can see him coming if Willie wants to pick up the prize money for 2nd and possibly 1st if CH bombs out.

    Sir Gino goes chasing.

Tellherthename didn't get entered for the Greatwood so doubt he turns up here.

I don't think any of the others are worthy of winning a grade 1.

I'd not be entirely sure about this.
with the forecast weather I'd say he's more likely to run.
When with pauling last season he was pretty adamant he was a better horse on better ground, I'd say his runs would concur this.
with the likelihood of the race drastically cutting up with no rain in sight I reckon the 33/1 for 3 places isn't too bad for this potentially smart horse on better ground.

    • Mystical Power...

Berry added: “He has an entry (in the Fighting Fifth), but everything is up in the air at the minute.
“He’s in the Morgiana at Punchestown as well and we’ll make decisions a bit nearer the time, but he’s back in good form and ready to roll.”

This combination (State Man stepping up slightly, Lossie being gifted an easy opener) has always made sense to me if the two horses were in the same ownership - they aren't though so it would be very interesting from an owner happiness perspective if it did happen...

Doubt they'll care which route they take to the CH. In Willie they trust.

Ellliott said: "I thought Brighterdaysahead was good at Down Royal. There's no decision on where she's going to go yet. I'll have a chat with the lads this week but she's come out of Down Royal very well and we're looking forward to getting her out soon.
"We toyed with going chasing but Michael [O'Leary, owner] was keen to stay hurdling and she's only five so she's got a lot of years in front of her hopefully."

Personally don't think it was that bad. Nico gave him a little squeeze but he done the same in the Supreme and the Champion Hurdle. Sir Gino is no slouch, we all know that.

Also, the video is the very end of the gallop, I'd prefer to see the whole thing.

It's only a small clip that I have to go of but it looked like Sir Gino cantered all over him. Aren't they both meant to be out this season around the same time?

It won't be long, we will find out how well Constitution Hill is. Fighting Fifth is just over a week and a half away!

Tempted to take 16/1 on Gino for the fighting fifth after watching that. Con Hill still not right..

                                We will see.

Yesterday 'Blogger' put up a video on Constitution Hill 'flying up the gallops' at Seven Barrows, and in the background Nicky says he'll go for two canters (assume he meant gallops), all of the others have one.

He either takes a fair bit of work to get right, or Nicky thinks he's maybe a little bit fresh, but if he's happy to send him out twice he can't be in bad health.
