It's never going to happen but I would love to see Willie bring Lossie over to Newcastle or Kempton to get a line on where they stand with CH. Imagine that.
I've been backing him since April. If he is sound I am one happy punter. The difference with backing him and any other horse is that you know if Con Hill is back then he is pretty unbeatable so anything odds against is a good bet to me. I will carry on backing him all the way down to evens

Yes....for mixing it with C Hill for sure. Wait until March.

It's just that 'if' though. If back to his very best he'll demolish them but I definitely need to see him run a race first. Thankfully the Newcastle race should be a walk over almost so he's likely to stay odds against for a bit.

Not sure he will because he’ll beat trees by half of the track and fomo will kick in forcing his price down to odds on

Ah ok, I thought you meant it was too early to run in a top race. Just about avoiding CH, understand.

              I tend to agree.
Major Saturday card, ITV coverage, win hard held and the plaudits will be out, perfect chance for bookies to cut...

Yes absolutely they will cut, and who could blame them?
If he’s showing he’s very possibly at or near his best on his first run they have no choice imo.
Hes already proven to be different class to the current Champion Hurdler.

I thought you had already decided?
Quoting on another thread……Lossiemouth will run in and win the Champion Hurdle.

Personally think if she comes over it will be for the Christmas Hurdle.

That’s is very wishful and unrealistic thinking Lobos, even you can’t believe what you’ve just written surely?

He comes back winning by 10+ lengths on the bridle he’ll go 4/6 easily.

The problem is chances are his run will prove nothing barring the horse still has 4 legs. Nothing to gain and everything to lose. Look at last year in the Christmas Hurdle where he had 26lb in hand on his next nearest rival! Considering they won't want to be hard on him first time up in almost a year also then granted a similar standard of opposition then a bridle job should be the minimum of expectation. Should they cut? Probably not as it's unlikely we will learn anything. Will they cut? Most likely!

                        • Willy is quoted in the OJA " Mystical Power could start off in the Fighting Fifth, or the Hatton's Grace."
That would certainly add interest and give a better idea on Constitution Hill's current wellbeing and retained ability.

The reason he’s been odds against imo is doubt about his wellbeing.
Comes out and proves he’s well he goes odds on.
Thats how I see it anyway

                              Two completely different races
