Yep. totally on board with most of that.
She's too short for sure which is why I'd not backed her till today's WTAF.
Very confident sh'ed win last week and today with those conditions/opposition.
I'd also say she would definitely have a capital P for me and seems bound to improve further as the yard feel she has done each off season.
That's why I think she beats all the rest and only if Con Hill gets back to his best would I have doubts and they'd be serious doubts as he's as special a horse as I've seen (Just not seen him enough recently unfortunately)
At least this division is hotting up for the first time in a while.
Fair points
Would say though…….a strong looking 4 year old is probably going to improve any amount from now to March
Have to agree though, it’s great to have all this talk about the race that I love the most!!
It really is. Just ask the other trainers . The bookies have given their view as well. She's the one to beat at this point , there's no disputing that. She'll be even stronger for dropping back to 2 miles as well. I don't see any chinks in her armour. I loved what she did today and there's plenty more to come. They'll go International again and then the big one.
No it really isn’t
She’s not the one to beat unless CH don’t get back!!
And beating a stayer don’t convince me anyway.
Let’s see how she gets on against proper CH horses.
She ain’t faced one yet.
I do like her though.
How could you not?
But she still has more to do .
I hope she doesn't go International, she needs a proper race where she can come off the bridle and learn how to race prior to the Champion Hurdle. Otherwise it is going to be a whole new experience for her especially if we get at least State Man and Sir Gino with possibility of Con Hill and BDA. It is all a learning experience as unless she is Con Hill special then she won't be beating State Man on the bridle even if she does turn out to be better. Get her into a competitive race and make her work a bit!

We'll have to wait until March now then Carnage for that to happen where the new Queen will be crowned.

I don't think anything could get her off the bridle. 2 1/2, 2 miles, fast pace, slow pace, good ground, deep ground, big field, small field.........all the same to her. She is that classy. The International worked so well for her last season so Willie and RR won't be changing that winning formula.
Lossiemouth my beauty didn't let me down. She is just so professional now. Can't fault her today. She did it so easy beating a very good horse. More to come as well which must be a scary thought for everything else.
Sweet Cherry Nipples.
Funny how you’re suddenly a fan of Teahupoo now you need the form of a horse you like franked. I think Lossiemouth will win the CH and thought so last year too. What happened today is close to an irrelevance however apart from offering a rare half decent WTAF opportunity as Q correctly identified . Most judges correctly identified that today’s race was won after a few furlongs. Even before flag fall Gordon would have known that nothing could set the kind of pace today to remotely test any possible fitness shortfall and the last thing he was going to do was give his stable star an unnecessarily hard race in vain. It was as close to a white flag as you will ever see in such a prestigious race. Anybody taking todays race and extrapolating to march is deluding themselves. She will however win the CH imo.
Big fan of Teahupoo and she simply doesn't need any of her form to be franked.
Funny how before the race lots were quite rightly saying it was the first time Lossiemouth has met a 160+ rated horse who will be primed for the race he's won the last 2 years yet now it was just a walkover against a Stayer. It wouldn't have mattered what the tactics were or how Deep the ground was, she'd have won whatever. She is just too good.

Well if she ain’t faced a proper CH horse by March, then at least we will have some unknown, which is great.
Anyway, lots to happen between now and then I would think.

She might not have to face a proper CH horse in March either !

With respect, none of us know what would have happened had it been soft ground, apart from knowing Teahupoo would have preferred that.
To be honest I suspect you are correct that she would still have won, she’s simply better at the distance today being a quicker and better horse.
But it’s still form against stayers at the end of the day.

Teahupoos top 2 RPR performances have both been over the mid trip in the Hattons Grace so he's a little better than just a Stayer.

There is but nothings gonna give this girl weight and a beating imo. I would however love for SG to continue to improve through the season and serve up a classic in a race that’s broadly speaking been much in need of one. I worry that it’s a year too soon for him however and if connections feel that to be the case they may pull stumps sooner rather than later. Having your two best horses beaten by the same horse would be pretty hard to swallow for any owner. We shall see. Hendo knows the time of day with these top 2 mile hurdlers and he will have a good idea whether it’s worth persevering or not.
