Nico needs to get his hands down on CH neck,horse is pulling with him right up until he gives him a shove,doesn't help himself being very keen for a horse nowhere near full fitness,it'll be interesting to see what happens at Newcastle.

Yeah, CH pulling Nico like it's a 5f sprint. Not ideal, even more so in that ground, when not fully wound up, probably made it look worse than it was at the end.

Indeed,thats the problem with only seeing the final half furlong,the whole thing doesn't look the best tbh but if you only see the end of it it's even worse.
I'd say he was very fresh having not seen a racecourse for near 12 months & I expect Nico was instructed to try and keep him in behind then finish alongside,also something no one ever considers is the weights carried,I've no idea who was on Sir Gino,Nico is a 10st 2 / 10st 4 man,was the other rider the same or are they a 9st wet through rider,just something else to consider.

It looks that way,people expect fireworks then when they don't arrive its all over.
We'll not know if the horse is the force of old until he's in a proper race,but judging on the clip that was available when the drifts started....was pretty daft imo.

CH wont even make it to the champion hurdle and even if it does it will be tailed off. Sir Gino cantered all over him in that workout. Henderson and niko talking nonsense with the positivity
