Unless he’s heard of info that nobody else has or he’s just guessing, Surely Lossiemouth will take her chance. We’ll know more after the ICH hopefully
Don’t suppose they care too much, but deciding which races for BDA and Lossie has a huge bearing on whether these two races on the Tuesday are competitive… or not!!

I wouldn't believe all you hear on those podcasts. One the other day agreed novices only need 4 runs to qualify for the handicap hurdles and don't get me started on the bloke that thought Romeo Coolio should be going for the Turners as he isn't quick enough for the Supreme despite showing in the Royal Bond he lacks a turn of foot.

      • I see Anzadam has contracted a fair bit, albeit probably not for bundles of money, on the exchanges. Now the same price as State Man (13.5). It was only a few days back that he was around the 18.5 mark. A new beginning for the Donnelly's and their Champion Hurdle hopes, maybe.

A lot will depend on his next run, but given the effort of State Man LTO, and Lossiemouth being beat by Constitution Hill, could Anzadam end up being the stable number 1 for the race?

He'll have to improve a fair old whack to do so!

Still think Mullins will see out the Lossiemouth 2 year plan this year, and it will be a toss up between her and State Man re the stable no. 1.4

          • Might be old news but Nicky says if all goes well it'll be Champion Hurdle then Punchestown for Constitution Hill.

            • State Man has been very weak for the Champion Hurdle in recent days.

I feel like there may be an issue, and if so I imagine we will be lucky to see him again this season, but this purely guess work, on my part.

Do you really need to ask that? I’m not trying to take the piss. I just think it’s blatantly obvious mate

Yep, suppose you are right. PT seemed pretty keen on sticking with SM (his fav horse) and he is the current champion after all.

I could have won a fortune on that being your response mate! Would have been short, very short, but that would be a mortgage down bet!

Have to say delighted with that news.

It means he’s come out of Xmas well and they probably want another run to blow away anymore rustiness before the big one, avoiding the ‘bounce’ of a second run in March.

I’d love for him to put in a monster performance just to add to the build up! I’m talking putting Anzadam away by 10+ lengths!
