I doubt Kempton was a track that suited and his wexford run was actually pretty good for an Emett first run of season.
Could see him hunting round and running on at the end.
Looks a very sparse gold cup at the minute.

Never going to win though is he ? I'd say very unlikely to place as well. Probably just use it as a prep for GN.

On the form book, I can understand it. His win in the NH Chase has been franked by Embassy Gardens if taken literally and was then a close 3rd in the Bowl at Aintree behind Gerri Colombe and Ahoy Senor despite being a novice. Personally, not sure he jumps well enough to get involved in a Gold Cup but the potential is there to be out the back and pick up the pieces. He may well end up being the no. 1 McManus horse in the race also (and the only one if FTF goes Ryanair).

Yes. He's been dreadful so far. I'd have plenty in front of him. I'm in the F2F GC camp though and can't see him running in the Ryanair so that makes a big difference.

Utterly bizarre i'd say. He's not a hope in the gold cup in my opinion, but I'd also be a fan in the Ryanair/CC
