  • Galopin at 11/2 with lads boost is a great price. I don’t think he should have been pushed out at all after that. Doesn’t like going right handed and trip far too short, I thought it was a brilliant run tbh

FTF great trial run for the Ryanair yet stays the same price and shortens for the GC…….2/1 is madness ……for a horse that shows so much pace it has to be question as to whether he will get the GC trip

      Be interesting what Willie says

      • Thought GDC ran great since they said he had a set back i think

        • The one I'd be taking out of that race would be F2F. Betting suggested he was short, never gone RH, trip on sharp side, first time against the big boyz. He'll get the GC trip no bother. He looks a million dollars as well. Very, very exciting.

          • You’d expect JP would want F2F and Spillanes split - reverse double Ryanair and Gold Cup could be worth a few quid

            • Galopin ran the exact same race last year, bookies pushed him out the rest is history.
9/2 plenty big enough for me to call in favours and get friends to take for me, had the look of a perfect reappearance today....

              • Spillane's looked to be coming with a winning run but when he got to F2F he went away again. I like that from him. Says to me he had a bit left as well. Boy we've seen some crackers this weekend.

Yep, your first line is crucial, 6f is a long way.
GDC comes out the race with credit as does the winner.
                  Not good for Fastorslow though.

Yep, ST could be another Ryanair horse to add to the equation.

I've had a top up on him as well, great comeback run.

He ran a super race but I just get the feeling he could just fall short this time. Winning 3 in a row is so difficult.

                          Yepp echo them thoughts

Fastorslow was well tuned up for today, so I'd personally write him off as a GC prospect

F2F and Galopin - the new kid on the block and the 2x reigning champ

Spillanes not to be discounted too, but he came from the back so maybe flattered a little picking up pieces.

                          • Galopin and F2F won't meet at Xmas imo. Willie won't want that. One will go Tramore.

Of course 3 is hard, as it should be, and so few have managed it, but the Gold Cup is give or take a mile longer that the John Durkin and the question I ask myself is who will that suit most, and for me Galopin heads straight to the top of that list....

I really don't get why fact to file isn't in the King george

He looks perfectly suited to a 3 mile speed test
