….yep, they left it at 50-1 after his win, cut it to 33-1 the next morning and then a further haircut to 22-1.

        Very sensible BigChaang
I think he'll run a good race in The King George. He's already shown his liking for the course and trip so nothing to fear there. It will be interesting who he comes up against on the day. For me Fastorslow sets the 3m standard.

Couldn't agree more with this - although my view may be slightly tainted by my heavy dependence on him for some outrageously good looking Cheltenham bets...

It's a shame Grangeclare West was ruled out injured as I'd have loved to have seen more of him last season. 33/1 looks interesting. He's unexposed for an 8 year old but he's unbeaten over fences in 3 starts and trained by the master himself. On paper I can see why he cost a small fortune. He made a mockery of Corbetts Cross and Flooring Porter LTO pissing up easily and that form now looks really quite good. He was 7/2 fav for the BANC before getting injured but I think JP wanted FTF in there anyway. I probably wouldn't want to take less than 33/1 but 40's on the machine looks fair all things considered IMO.

              Big news .......

Mullins says they will resist the Gold Cup aspirations with I Am Maximus and just target a second win in the Grand National. Same route as last season.

Galopin drifted very slightly on 365 out to 7-2 from 3's

365 have been pushing quite a few horses out. I think they always do this at this time of year.

With the I Am Maximus news, JP is looking to have a cracking National hand with Iroko and Inothewayyourthinkin

FTF money yesterday may have simply been that it cements where FTF goes and probably being JP’s number one dart for the GC?

Maybe not so good news though for Corbetts Cross going to the Ryanair as JP may want to go mob handed to take on Galopin ?

Obviously horses performance throughout the season will be the decider on some plans (some stepping up and some stepping down) but hopefully Willie and JP will see the light and decide Corbetts has a better chance of winning the Ryanair than GC

Corals have pushed Corbetts Cross out to 25-1 for the Gold Cup ,, still 20's for the Ryanair though . .

I'm hoping for some 4/1 when he's beaten 5l in the John Durkin...

Especially if he's beaten by F2F

They've drifted a few out in the GC market, I thought it might be due to others contracting but couldn't identify any. Hope both he and F2F make it, will make for a good contest imo

The 20/1 carrot dangled by PP / BFSB for Gerri Colombe was enough to tempt me after that - overreaction?

                                edit - 20s gone already
