I knowthewayyurthinkin looks odds on to get supplemented for the Gold cup now.
And would not surprise me if they put Corbetts in the stayers either.

Just a bit sticky at his jumps and has not improved this season on that front. Although I do think Cheltenham would be more suitable as it's not unusual for a horse like Pic D'ory, jump with so much tempo and rhythm to make other horses look like they've got the wrong shoes on.
Kempton a similar track for that type of thing also.
I'm fortunate to go to a lot of meetings here in Ireland, around 30-40 each year. Find myself clocking Frank Berry more often than not, either on the course or in the car park before/after racing.

Frank's life must be what be what it must be like working in the public sector, happily spending another man's money. A bottomless ditch of funds to tap into, the supplementary amounts must be little more than loose change to the main man.

Yes, they should give up with CC and fences and see how he is over a trip over the smaller obstacles.

They're just consistently light on entries and seem to favour narrowing options more than other connections that have similar ammunition/money.
Just a surprising way of going about things.

The only reasoning I can think of is that lack of options means more focus, and the money side is no object .

Not gay though so had to put a stop to his overtures.

Shishkin's Ascot shoes didn't help him against Envoi though did it ? - which was the point.

Not sure about the narrative comments, as I don't really care if corbetts is supplemented, I wouldn't expect much as he looks overrated on 166 - although, after this conflab -it would be amusing if they did and he won.

You know exactly what I'm on about so don't make me chase you around Brighton.....

              • Re Corbetts Cross....

Undecided if he'll go to the Gold Cup now according to ITV Racing

As per Graham Cunningham on Sporting Life

                • If Corbetts Cross doesn't go to the GC, wonder what that means for Fact to File?

Of course McManus doesn't have to have a GC runner. Hasn't had many runners recently. None since 2022, Chantry House, and 2021, Champ.

So, answering my own question. FtF goes still to the Ryanair where he has a favourite's chance.
