Sounded like a drop in trip isn't on the cards yet.
Not that I am at all bitter about the Gaelic Warrior quotes from last year…..he’s a stayer…..he’s all speed Etc…..honest not bitter at all !

It won't be willies decision where fact to file goes, so his comments don't mean a whole lot. He'd be happy to still go for the gold cup as he doesn't have much else outside of galopin for it, whereas he has a lot of options for the ryanair. Jp might think differently though if he can't see the form being turned around.

To my untrained eye he definitely looked like he'd be better in the Ryanair after that performance, not pocket talking cos I'd win more if he won the gold cup but i did listen to people on here when they said about covering for the Ryanair.

If he settled and jumped better he would imo.
Think their will be work done at home and plenty of thinking about things and will be a while before we know the race for FTF.

Galopin brilliant as always, but how have none of them have hassled him for the lead. Slowed it down and blew them away up the straight. FTF too keen and one bad mistake. His jumps at the others were very good though. They'd be better letting him roll on and use his jumping from the front but no chance of that happening.

Anyway what do I know. I have F2F covered for the Ryanair, not the GC!

Thing is, it’s got little to do with Willie. It’s all JP. Townend’s interview was illuminating. “Fed up of seeing the other lad on the gallops”. When he knows he’s not riding it, it’s like they’re in two sub-stables at Closutton.
I think JP will want to roll the dice. He’s ran very respectably with things to work on. He’s probably the second best staying chaser in training currently. You can’t be afraid of one.
My pocket would prefer the Ryanair, but I think he’s likely to be gold cup bound.

But if Galopin was to get a stone bruise on friday morning and F2F had run in the Ryanair JP has just missed out on having a great chance of winning the gold cup.
You can't be scared of one horse
