Gilligan definitely making sure he didn't win on Stellar Story there.

Disappointed too, given a fairly big BDA backer.

Yep. Stellar the one to take out of that. Was definitely being held back. BDA won't be winning the BANC I don't think. Sorry backers....... and I'm one !

      • If they run Stellar Story in the BANC I reckon he has a right chance.

        • Could Stellar go for a Handicap at the festival or is he in the National?? If so I'll be backing him.

He’s a proper stayer for sure.
Yep. More a National type. Just doesn't have the class for the BANC I'd say.

I would agree with this. They’ve talked him down a bit this season but I’ve a feeling he’ll be there punching at the last.

                Yep.

Just backed him at 20's NRNB.

Might depend on the ground as to his chances, but I think he will be better next time for that run today.

                      He'll be rated too high.

                      • ….Stellar into as low as 12-1 NHC, BFSB hung onto 40-1 AP for a bit but have now cut to 16-1, 16-1 NRNB for BANC. BDA out to 10-1 BANC.

Festival winner and you can't beat that form

Then again, if he were going for the BANC then he'd be trying to win today which he definitely wasn't!

                          • Don't think either of them will trouble ballyburn and dancing city

I'd be pretty surprised if the winner wasn't one of those two

                            • Depends how the race goes in terms of pace and ground etc.
But if you want a dirty stayer then Stellar Story is that.

                              • Think the grounds going to be a big factor in the BANC,if it’s a bog then it favours Dancing City and Stellar Story and the like, but anything else Ballyburn just wins for me,by far the most classy horse in the race.
