I took a flyer a couple of weeks ago Johnnywho Kim Muir at 20s, very soon after he was clipped to 12s so I took some comfort I'd guessed right, he is prominent in the Ultima market but I've long thought it's such a classy race you need to a future G1 horse to win this and I think Johnnywho is being trained like a handicapper, I wouldn't be shocked if he turned out to be 2026 National horse...

    • What a shame, not saying he was going to win, but one of the most exciting horses to watch in that division for me.

      • The special with PP for jukebox man to win and then win gold cup is also available to be cashed.

        • TJM out is gutting. Left with just Better Days Ahead. Question now is whether to back Impaire et Passe before the weekend (probably NRNB) or skip him entirely and look at either Dancing City (I think he'll be larger on the day), possibly Jango as a classier option or most likely wait for decs and look at the pace angle. I think we'll have a decent sized field in this so most likely option is to wait now.

          • Gutted for connections, my slips, and the race itself that The Jukebox Man is not going to make the festival.

He was my banker for pace in the race, now I guess Croke Park & Dancing City will be the prominent ones. Jango Baie, maybe, but he's got to overcome Impaire Et Passe & others at Sandown first, by the sounds of it.

Ballyburn is keen enough... wouldn't be surprised if he makes all myself.

Have I missed something of late on Jango?

Thought Hendo was saying Jingko was going to be the BANC horse for them and Jango more 2m4?

                        Haven't seen anything.

Exchanges make little sense if what you have said is still the plan though.

                        • We'll all have to make our money back on The Jukebox Man for the King George .... be a bit forgotten for that after the festival probably

                            Yep
Said Jingko was more of a stayer and Jango not quick enough for the Arkle.
Jango likely to be kept for Aintree.

                              • This could a bit Pie in the Sky but not totally out of the realms...

Impaire Et Passe entered at Sandown on Saturday and has been given a BHA Rating of 157.

If he is beaten or narrowly beats Jango Baie or Kalif in a tight finish and the handicapper leaves him on 157 or drops him a lb or 2, could they go to the Novice Handicap with him, that's his 3 runs and Willie would get him over the distance he wants to run him over for the Festival.

Not Wllie's mo to target (or win) handicap chases, but given his vocal dissatisfaction to the changes, it would be a great 2 fingers to the BHA to go and win it with his Grade 1 2 and half miler anyway.

Not quoted anywhere, but would original bets to win the old Turners stand?
