I think the 2nd to the 6th might all fancy a pop at the NH chase.

      Possible imo
I backed him for BANC after his run behind DCity, he ran on well after the mistake and would have imo gone close had he not clouted one.
Hes now done the same again but this time petered out.
      Maybe he’s injured himself there?
Anyway I would still be interested in him if he turned up in March in whatever race, but he simply has to stop clouting one every time!!

      • Three Card Brag warning. Gordon Elliott just interviewed on RTV said he probably won't be going to Cheltenham. Mention the Irish or Scottish or English Grand Nationals.

I'll post what it gives for trials day, been on a bad run recently but did bang in a 40/1 winner last weekend! I'll be heading to trials day more than likely as a break from my university exam revision so more than happy to meet up with some FJs to have a chat about how it all works as I'll likely be heading there on my own

I do some systems type betting, which has proved pretty reasonable over the last couple of years but my god it's a different way of betting isn't it?

I went from 2250pts on 28th June to 470pts on 24th August (lost 75% of my bank in 2 months!), then by 30th November I was back up to 4960pts. Lost a bit since (now at 4000pts), but it's a proper rollercoaster of emotions - particularly as you end up backing a fair few horses you just don't fancy don't you?

Would be really keen to chat about the model at some point - hopefully next week, but heading down with my family so not sure how much time I'll have given my brothers son is 3 and needs a lot of entertaining

Yeah a lot of the stuff it gives me I couldn't back myself, for example, it chose gidleigh to park to win the lightning novice chase earlier this week when I couldn't have touched it with stolen money!

                        • Does anyone know anything or have any news on Reading Tommy Wrong. Last seen when favourite and PU in the Albert Bartlett in March 2024. Assume he picked up an injury. Is he Out For The Season ? Should be of interest for the BANC if fit but I haven't seen anything.

….don’t think he was even mentioned in the Stable Tour. PU in AB.

                            • Disappointing jumping display from Jinko Blue there albeit was good enough to go and win (Helped by a bad mistake from Lowry's Bar). Jumped much better in handicap company last time over shorter so maybe that suits best? Four runs for Johnnywho now and a qualifier for the NH Chase with '3rd' over 3m.

I wouldn’t say it was disappointing jumping.
He did get too close to some but he’s clever enough, and I don’t mind that with novice’s learning.
He also jumped some very well.
